Jardan's flagship store in Melbourne was the perfect opportunity for IF Architecture's Iva Foschia to select a contemporary brick tile to adorn the floors of the stripped back and refurbished building in Church Street, Richmond. Housed in a two storey, light filled space, entering the new showroom is much like stepping in to a sophisticated, stylish and relaxed family home.
The architect's brief was to highlight Australian craftsmanship, products and material, in keeping with Jardan's offering. The Jardan brand has always been synonymous with quality, contemporary design, so Robertson's Building Product's Ash Grey brick tile was a perfect complement to the new store.
The Ash Grey tile not only blends well with the sophisticated, mid-century modernist furniture that is Jardan, but it also showcases how beautifully the tile works as an indoor application. The use of our tiles on the showroom's lower floor is also a direct reference by Iva Foschia to the same floor in Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin's home in Eaglemont.
So if you'd like to see our Ash Grey brick tiles used exceptionally well, visit Jordan's showroom at 522 Church Street, Richmond. Then why not drop in to our showroom, at 650 Church Street? We'd love to show you some samples of our Ash Grey brick tiles. Or simply call us on +613 8199 9599.
